I've been preparing the 2022 SPOTM calendar for some time now in conjunction with the rest of the admin team and this is the list of topics for 2022:
January : ANY airliner photographed in 2021 which has not won or been 2nd or 3rd in either photo comp, i.e. not already in the hall of fame
February : 40 years of the Boeing 757 (first flew19-02-82)
March : Here's a challenge: Any Canadair/Bombardier Challenger series biz jet
April: half and half, nosewheel(s) in the air but main wheels on the ground
May : Flexwings
June : Any Turkish registered civilian aircraft
July: Sikorsky, it’s 50 years since Igor’s death so any civil register Sikorsky design including licence built types such as Westlands amended to Westlands and associated designs
August: aircraft of the Indian sub continent registered in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka
September: any Pilatus aircraft including gliders to widen the scope
October: a very significant anniversary from 1972, The Airbus A300 first flew on 28th October, the first Airbus airliner and first twin engine wide body , to make it a bit easier the subject will be any Airbus wide body airliner.
November: an aircraft displaying at a 2022 airshow
December: This month marks the Diamond jubilee of the first flight of the Bell 206 Jetranger (December 1962) so this month’s subject is any Bell 206 or it’s derivatives
