SPOTM 2016 members' preferred subjects poll

Post by andygolfer » Wed Oct 21, 2015 7:06 pm

As per my previous topic, here is a poll to allow the members to pick their preferred subjects for either 2 or 3 of the SPOTM competitions in 2016. If there is a large enough vote for 3 different topics I will include 3 but if the number of votes is small then I will just use 2 (I can always use them in future years as well).
There are 19 subjects to choose from and I have tried to arrange them into loose categories such as aircraft types or colour schemes, weather and settings

Like the monthy SPOTM polls you may vote for 3 subjects but remember to vote for all 3 at the same time

However unlike the monthly SPOTM polls you may change your votes if you wish AND you may also vote for your own suggestion(s) if you wish.

I will run the poll until the 31st October which allows 10 days for voting, hopefully by then everybody who wants to will have voted and I can then prepare the calendar for 2016.

If you have any questions or think of future ideas which I can keep on my list please post them in the other topic about this: http://www.civilianaviation.co.uk/forum ... 10&t=22915

thanks to everybody who has sent in ideas, there have been plenty of really good ones

thanks to everybody who took the time to vote in this, it's been very useful for me as it also helps me understand the types of topic which are most popular. 3 subjects tied so I will include them all in next year's topics.

the 3 subjects were:
Rainy days
Size matters and
Viewed from above

(I wonder if anybody can get all 3 subjects in one photo? :D )

lots of others got near so I will keep a record of them and use some of them in future years, I have a very good long list of ideas now so thanks for everybody who contributed ideas whether or not they made the 2016 subject list.

I'll finalise the list in the next few day, run it past the other moderators in case I need to tweak any to avoid any confusion and then publish it for you. If you think of other ideas please feel free to add them to the original topic or send me a PM.

thanks again
