The road around the back of the hangars has been re-routed due to a new road that has been built to avoid Baginton village. The former Air Atlantic hangars have been taken over by a haulage company but you can still drive around the back to what was the Airbase carpark although not much can be seen due to trailers parked up (not that there's much to be seen anymore).

thanks Martin, I'm planning to visit Coventry (and a few other airfields) next month on my way to mid Wales and the Mach loop so looking for some help please (I believe things are a bit fluid at Coventry at present)......

1: What are the areas worth visiting at Coventry?
looking at google earth m there's a road west of the museum (Rowley Rd) leading to Aerotech where there appear to be a reasonable number of aircraft on the apron, are they still there and is there any access available please?

2: I think I've worked out the way to 'Airbase' - off Orchard Way and round the north side of the 3 large hangars, is there much to see there now please?

3: south of the 3 big hangars there is a flying school labelled on G.E., (Above and beyond) is that still there please?

and 4 - is there anywhere else worth stopping off for a look around please?
