Coventry Airport Closure
From here;
Obviously, the museum is unaffected, but this is going to have a serious affect on Air Atlantique/Atlantic West I would imagine!
Coventry Airport has been closed indefinitely because of financial difficulties, it has been announced.
West Midlands International Airport, which owns it, is due to be wound up by the Inland Revenue at the High Court on Wednesday, a spokesperson said. She added the board of directors took the decision to close the airport. Passenger airline Thomsonfly stopped flights out of the airport in 2008 and a year earlier the airport saw plans for a new terminal rejected. A public inquiry found the new terminal would have had an adverse impact on noise in the area. Since then, the airport has been operating as a cargo terminal and a base for executive jets and other aviation-related businesses.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said the airport's owner had issued a Notice to Airmen, informing pilots and aircraft that the airport was no longer operational.
