Does anyone know what the long term plans for the location of the air ambulance and police helicopter based at Filton are? Is the part of the airfield which has been left for them just for the sort term or is it a long term answer?

BAe Systems, the Air Ambulance and Police Air Ops all have an agreement that they will remain at Filton despite the closure and redevelopment of the land.

Saw the site plan of what they hope to build in the local paper yesterday. I could see a area for the planned museum but not an area for the air ambulance and police helicopters.

Has there been any change about the planned development.

I note that much of the old factories on Gloucester road are gone, but there has been no other news.
