Apologies if you already know but the LAA Rally is returning in 2024 after two years of Grass Roots at Popham to:-

Leicester East Dates Friday 30th August- Sunday 1st September 2024

Bit nearer for us Northerner's.

The following fees have been announced by the LAA and it is a bit of an ouch moment for non- members:_


Entrance Fees



All fly-in slot bookings for the event will be available to book in advance via the Eventbrite booking website. The booking site will be available mid July.


Member and public entrance tickets can be bought in advance via the LAA Shop.

There is free car parking and provision for disabled parking on site. For those arriving by road, Leicester Airfield is easily reached from the north and southwest via J21 on the M1; A563 Sth Leicester Bypass to B582 Gartree Road. Routes from the East and South East via A47 and A6.


Members by ROAD : INCLUDES AIRSIDE ACCESS

£20 (for all 3 days)

LAA, BMAA and BRA members - Please bring your valid membership card with you.

Non-Members by ROAD : DOES NOT INCLUDE AIRSIDE ACCESS

£25 for One Day Ticket

Non-Members AIRSIDE ACCESS

£10 for One Day Ticket

Children 16 and under go free.

So even if you join the LAA it is still an expensive three days

According to the Editorial of my latest LAAS mag it would appear that the Rally will be at Leicester again next year.
