Hi all, can't believe there's no comment on this here ? I went on the Thursday as I figured the majority of arrivals would not want to transit these valuable old girls in bad weather as Friday's forecast was very poor. Bingo I was on the button. Saw, 3xHurricans, 6x Spitfires, 2x Republic Thunderbolts (p47), Lockheed p38, 2x Messerschmitt bf109s, Corsair f4u, Hawker Tempest (I think), Curtiss p40s x2. A total of 7x practice displays seen. The best of those being a two ship of Mustangs p51b & p51d. They were very tight indeed ! All together a super show. I met quite a few anoraks and locals. Had good chats with a ex police officer, a nice young local couple with their baby and a car full from Switzerland. Mentioned Stan Warrinker, and Rojer Federe to them which was popular. Yet again the Europeans have good English. Must thank the owner of Leeds East for his enthusiasm and I hope it happens again next year and long into the future.
Cheers all

Re: Dear Birds Air Show
Are you talking about the Flying Legends airshow?
Re: Dear Birds Air Show
2 Thunderbolts? Maybe 1 Thunderbolt and a P-36 Hawk?
