Bourgas Airport, Bulgaria

Post by Martin » Thu Sep 21, 2017 1:15 pm

I have just returned from a week away in Bulgaria, a few W&R items were logged

At the entrance to Bourgas Airport is a small museum with these civil exhibits, all of which are slowly decaying away. All of them can be seen from the outside.

LZ-ANL An24 all white
LZ-BAB An12 all white, poor condition
LZ-BTU Tu154 all white
LZ-1089 An2 all white
LZ-7001 An14 all white
+ the nose of an An24 (possibly from LZ-AND?)

Displayed outside the front of the terminal at Bourgas is IL14 LZ-ILE which is in full Balkan colours and is in a good condition.

That's the one but it's also quoted online as being LZ-AND so not sure if that's correct or if it is from LZ-ANF?

Looks like you may be right Martin . I just found this , that say's that another AN-24 Cockpit at Burgas is LZ-ANF and photo says it was taken in 2017 .

And this that say's it is LZ-AND .
