Does anybody use this lens and if so how do you find it?

I was thinking of getting one to use on the 40D and it will overlap nicely with the 100-400

At present I have a Canon EF-S 17-85mm IS Lens and often find I could do with a bit more reach so i thought the extra 50mm offered by the 135 might be handy

Sorry - I don't log-on here often.

I've had one of these for over a decade now, it's a superb lens, you won't be disappointed.

Sorry, I've only just noticed this thread.

I use one of these lenses too. I purchased it on the strength of a magazine review which called it "..a superb all-rounder". I have no reason to disagree with the reviewer!
