They looked great in Maersk livery - I saw one at Heathrow but couldn't get a shot. I love the early Viper-engined versions too.

Did the CAA operate any other 125 apart from G-AVDX? If not then I saw that particular aircraft many times when I was based at RAF Northolt. Whenever it appeared on the arrivals list we knew who the passengers would be, either Michael Foot or Tony Benn as they refused to fly in RAF aircraft.

Here's a history of the CAFU which details the aircraft used. Initially they had HS.125 G-ATPC which in 1970 was about to be replaced by G-AVDX, there's a photo of the 2 together on the page, saying G-ATPC was about to be retired so they had both for a short while
