Hi All, just to let you know that Aurigny's Trilanders still appear to be going strong? G-RLON flew over my garden in October 2016

Some of my early handywork(Rolls Royce ) Leavesden Aerodrome 1983 ( Yes its Harry Potter Land Now !!!!),it was a bit of a love hate relationship with this type and the Islander but the Aurigny fleet playing a big part in it , one of the first aircraft i would work on was G-AZLJ great to see the picture as well ,i am sure we carried out a least 3 Trislander repaints and couple of islanders,Both of these types were renowned for having vast amounts of riveted panels & screwed down inspection panels catching your fingers when hand sanding was a daily hazard belive me after all these years i still have the scars!!!enjoy

Aurigny's Trislanders spent a few years earning money for the airline as 'Flying Billboards'
