Theft and damage at East Midlands Aeropark

Post by andygolfer » Tue Jun 27, 2017 4:17 pm

You may have seen about this mindless theft and vandalism at the East Midlands Aeropark last weekend when some scumbags decided that just nicking all their funds from their open day wasn't sufficient and went on the totally wreck the shop area. The museum estimate the damage at £5k and have a fundraising page in action to help fund the repairs. Here are links to their FB page and and to a topic about the break in together with a link to the funding page.

Absolutely disgusting. I'm just trying to figure out why they'd leave the day's takings in a safe, in a hangar, on an un-guarded airfield overnight. :???:

Very sad, especially as I presume everyone there volunteers their time for free :(
