Hi from the Isle of Wight

Post by Christoff » Fri Nov 02, 2018 2:40 pm

I have spotting on and off for over 40 years, originally grew up around LHR, but now live on the Isle of Wight with no regrets of leaving the mainland. Am looking forward to hopefully contributing here and also gaining knowledge from those more savvy than me.

Regards.

Chris

Welcome Chris,
it's years since I have been to IOW - the days of lines of Islanders at Bembridge, and the DH89A doing pleasure flights.
Also found Sandown to be a friendly place with a nice café/bar.
Hope you are able to post some pics / news of comings and goings.

Pete.

Do they still hold the annual Spamfield fly-in at Sandown, the last time I went there was around 15yrs ago?
