Hi Haydn

Some nice subjects well caught BUT they would look 10 times better if you leveled 'em up :D :D

Hi Mark,

I don't really believe in editing images, but after 2.2DME's comments on another set regarding levelling, I decided to start a little electronic project where the camera would do it for me.
I already had a old Nikon D80 stripped down, which I was putting a new sensor in, so now this camera is the prototype for this project.

Thanks Haydn

I thought all the mounds had gone from there, or have you got some very tall ladders.

well i see the car parks over that side are up and running, what a shame as it was such a great spot before

where were your shots taken from, have they left a dirt mound over there and does it look like it is going to be a permanent feature

I did also, I drove past then decicided to turn round and have a look. Just one remains but it is big and a flat level top and quite high, its the best mound yet
The only problem is the new tall lamp posts they have put in for the carpark, its easy enough getting shots between when the aircraft is approaching you, but the mound is that high when the aircraft are getting lower and side on, in some shots you nearly have them sitting on the post.

At the moment it looks permanent . One piece of hardcore machinary is at the side so it maybe in use at times, but to be honest although its big its a small enough heap of aggregate for a construction company to leave, did'nt see any lorries the 3 hours I was there either.

Great shots there mate, and also great to hear that they have left us something to climb up to take photos. Not been since the cars moved in bu will make a trip soon. Well done.....

Cracking set, that last Qatar is my favourite although the A380 is mighty impressive as ever.

I know exactly what you mean about the lampposts too - caught me out on more than one occasion on my last visit. Well worth heading there once the departures start there after the morning rush though.

Thanks for the comments, I can see Moss lanes going to have parking congestion again.
