Evening Haydn

Nice shots there, they certainly looks very sharp & seem to have very true colours. They would benifit from a bit of leveling though :thumb:

Cheers

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for the comments, unfortunately I dont believe in using photoshop to do any after adjustments :thumb:
Once photoshop is used it becomes a fraudulent image

Cheers Haydn

Hi Haydn

Fair enough then! There is deffinately as much skill in taking the image as there is in the processing! :)

Cheers

Hi Stephen,

I do actually own lots of photo editing software and have actually beta tested several at the university.
I just believe in getting it right the first time !!! But unfortunately levelling I can't !
I'm a member of a couple camera clubs and several photographic societies and love bringing this subject up as it always gets a good debate going. Believe it or not most people for edited images within competitions are the ones in their retirement obviously because of the time they must have, where as the younger generation( thats me early 40's) its what you see is what you get.
But the whole point is the camera was invented to capture the moment and freeze a moment in time as the eye see's it.
Anyway its just my opinion which does'nt always mean a lot :thumb:

All the best Haydn

Very nice photos, especially the first! What time did that roll in?

I agree with the sentiments about not editing photos, it's not for me either!
