Civilian Aviation

On the hunch that as a consequence of the forthcoming Royal Wedding there would some degree of increased biz jet activity at Farnborough I made my up there today. With the wind being a favourable easterly, RWY06 was in use and the sun shone all day. In all I believe that there have been 6 separate Boeing BBJs in today, 3 x UAE, 1 x USA, 1 x Aussie AF and 1 x R.Malaysian Air Force amongst other biz jet types.

I'm up at 04:50 every day matey!

Did you hear the one about the chap who goes to his Doctor and says;

Some great pictures here - it looks like Farnborough has had some very interesting traffic over the last few days.

G-VIPI has me getting all nostalgic though - I first saw it in East Midlands back in 1993!!
