Prestwick 06/03/11

Post by skytrain » Sun Mar 06, 2011 10:31 pm

Hi All,

Here's a couple of shots from a grey and misty Prestwick earlier this afternoon. Highlight was this rather nice Air France Cargo 747F.

Over at Edinburgh earlier in the morning was this all-white Astraeus Airbus A320 G-STRP on a run down to Heathrow.

Thanks mach one, I was trying out a new lens so I wasn't sure what they were going to turn out like! I'm still fairly new to SLR's so I've not really ventured beyong the auto settings yet, but it seems to have handled the claggy weather ok today!

Good to catch up with you earlier Drew :thumb: Yep, I'm still smarting about missing that 757

Thanks Reggie! :thumb: It was the first one I'd seen in the new AF colours.

Mach One, yes, I was a bit unsure about straying from Canon or Nikon, but the Pentax was getting really good reviews and I've been more than happy with it so far. I'd certainly recommend it for anyone looking for their first DSLR. I just need to read the manual and find out how to use all the buttons

The contrast and colours in the 747f pics is stunning! Feels like that aircraft jumps out of the picture!
