is its near where I live,sadly the sr-61 will soon be replaced
by the sr-92 still rather the old heli

Can you answer these 2 questions for me please
1 who owns the helicopters and
2 is the red paint a special shade - I've never seen it before
...and don't reply it's Irish Coastguard red!!

Sorry with late reply ,firstly thanks for comments
the helecopters belong to CHC who to the best of my
knowledge are a american company
the red paint scheme is on all their fleet of sr-61,s
also I think they have a sar helecopter based in holland

I think the helicopter is actually designated an S-61N, rather than SR-61. Not trying to be clever, just trying to help.
Owned by CHC (ireland) I believe who were originally a Canadian company (hence the first "C" in the name), however I believe a couple of years ago they were bought by a financial investment company in the USA.
