went for a walk and ended up flying! I know the owner of the Sherwood Scout well and have flown in it many times. SWMBO and I went for a morning walk and found Steve preparing for a flight and he asked if we wanted a flight, much to my surprise my wife jumped at the chance so she went for a brief aerial tour of the village and west Braintree and then I went off hoping to get some flood photos. We ended up going to Maldon, Mersea Island and back. A nice trip but a pity it wasn't sunny. The Aerobat was visiting for some maintenance, it used to be based here but is usually at Earls Colne these days.....
