London City Airport 25-11-2025

I was in London on Tuesday and spent a couple of hours at London City Airport, my first visit for several years. I was surprised how little non BA airliner traffic there was but a few biz added to the variety. I was using public transport rather than car so walked from Gallions reach on the DLR to the eastern end, Woolwich Manorway and used the two bridges as my main vantage points. this map shows where I took the pics from:

I then walked south along the road until I was at point 2 right on the centreline,

I continued to point 3 on the southern end of the bridge over the King George V dock fo the bulk of my photos, that has good views of the approach, runway and taxiway so plenty of variety on the angles...

the port authority was closing the bridge for a short while so I had the choice of move or drown so I went down to the quay edge at point 4 almost on the centreline, and got a different angle on the departure sequence:
