Heathrow 19/4/25

Afternoon all,
Treated myself to a birthday trip to Heathrow recently. A full day on the mounds by T5 with a picnic bought from the M&S in the terminal. Just nice to sit and do nothing for a full day, not many things in life can give you this these days.
Been a couple of years since I got to spend a full day there so still plenty of ticks on offer. Managed to re-complete the BA fleet as TTSD had been delivered the day before and I caught a fleeting glimpse of the tail. It's quite important to go into a Heathrow day with some interest in the locals as long swathes of arrivals after 9am are just BA & VS interspersed with a shedload of american airlines

When is Red Nose Day again?!

Lots of newly delivered European Neos racked the numbers up as well.

I'd clocked the Saudi specials in and out a few times on the tracking sites in the build up but didn't dare to believe I'd get any... Happy days when a pair of them showed up. Quite a lot of Saudi flights in a day now.

And from the new to the old, not sure why this Algerian A330 has been stripped of titles but certainly a better option than the all white Ascend 737 that has been operating for them.

Another newly delivered airbus on the now convoluted route from the furthest east, or is it west now given the flight path?!

Still plenty of interest from that direction despite all the geopolitical nonsense ongoing.

The perk of doing a solid day is getting the full gamut of Chinese airlines, and was the main reason for the trip.

The light gets lovely in time for some of these movements, just a tricky balance of when to cross to the other side.
Thanks for looking, comments always welcome. Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts folks!
