Probably my last aircraft photos of 2024, taken at Stansted on Sunday 22nd whilst waiting for my daughter and family to arrive. There were strong gusting cross winds up to 40mph which made for interesting angles at the 22 (landing) end. There were also some heavy touchdowns with plenty of tyre smoke...

almost new Pegasus A321 TC-RFE aiming for me and not the runway:

my daughter's Ryanair 737 touching (if that's the way to describe it) down

Emirates 777, three images of the landing sequence:

angled well across thew runway...

and a last second swing to the left to line up on touch down...

TUI 737...

and finally another Ryanair 737 looking straight down the approach lights, the aircraft pointing well to the right of the runway at this stage:

thanks for looking, C&C welcome
Happy new year to all our members

Great pics, I'll have to pencil in another trip to STN sometime in 2025.

Challenging conditions for the crews! If I had been watching my family landing I would have needed a change of clothing  Glad everyone got down safely.
