super weather tempted me plus a friend to spend the day at Heathrow photographing 27L departures, some super bankers amongst them so here's a selection....

What’s not to like, crisp clear and excellent variety. Any chance of a pin to show where these were shot from, I only know of the park when on 09’s.

Great shots Andy. That Saudia is very tasty. Hope to catch up with it soon myself.
All the best
Denis.

Hi Rob thanks for the comments. They were taken at the western end of Moor Lane Staines, the postcode is TW19 6EQ, go right to the end of the road where it goes under the M25 and then I parked where the road goes north along the side of the M25 embankment, I park about 30m from the bridge so I'm not near the bend as it gets a bit of traffic going up to the businesses at the end of the lane. The postcode is for the first business after you go under the M25 bridge. There's a large telephone mast in the field on the left but you can avoid photos of that quite easily. There is a footpath goes alongside the railway to the left if you want to get off the road but the horses in the field might want to share your lunch.
Normally I go onto Staines Moor via a footpath from Moor Lane about 500m from the junction with the B376, just before you cross a small bridge the fp is on the right through a gate postcode is TW18 4YY , goes over the railway, alongside the A30 for about 100m then underneath it onto the moor, follow it alongside the river (the path is called the Colne Valley Way) cross the first river bridge and continue north to about half way between the bridge and a stile by the river, it's about 500m from the A30 anywhere around there is fine. The banking shots are a bit better there as you're further away but heat haze off the M25 can be a problem. The moor can be quite wet in winter and after last week's rain I decided it might be very wet so I went to the other location instead.
