Teesside Airport - 14th August

For an airport that’s 25 miles from my house, I don’t visit Teesside very often. But with Draken Europe launching seven Falcon 20s and three L-159 ALCAs during the morning, all civil registered , the sunny weather and light easterly breeze lured me to the 05 end of Teesside’s runway. A few biz jet movements helped pass the time waiting for the Draken fleet to return from their missions over the North Sea.

Lovely set Ian, it's good to see some action from Teesside.

Particularly liking those L-159 shots - there never seem to be all that many photos of them about.

Fingers crossed one of them might make it to RIAT one day, otherwise a long trip North could be in order.
