Ascot heliport - Ladies Day 20-06-2024

I went to Ladies day at Ascot, not for the racing but for the helicopters carrying punters to the temporary heliport at Lower Farm about a mile east of the racecourse. I noted / photographed 47 helicopters in all, I believe I missed one late arrival. Here's a selection of my photos:

One or two hadn't planned for the downdrafts, it's quite amusing to see them trying to look all posh and then getting caught out and try to maintain an appearance. There were several hats went flying off in various directions. Having said that I lost mine on the chairlift at the needles last week
