Visited the Koninklijk Legermuseum - Musée Royal de l'Armée in Brussels on 4 November 2023. A number of the airframes were covered in dust from the deteriorating Victorian era metal roof.

Now that's my sort of museum. Great mix of all-sorts. Thank you.

To give everyone an impression of the overall building layout here is a scan of a picture I took on a previous visit in 2000. The aviation museum started in the late 1920s using a building in the grand esplanade of Parc Cinquantenaire. Opened in 1880 for an international exhibition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Belgian state (in 1830).

Super pictures, thank you for posting.

I visited a few years ago and was very impressed on the range and quality of the stuff in there. Best of all, you can buy a book with pictures of all the exhibits, with text in three languages, all for a reasonable price. With and on-site cafe and gift shop, all within walking distance of the station, what more do you need?
