very nice selection, thanks - do like a 747 :thumb:

Is the hotel back to normal now and can you still phone when you book to ask for an airport view room please? Might venture back there some time this year.

Andy hotel is as normal, but floor 7 is now +rooms(more expensive)
I always mail them a week or so in advance reservations.londonheathrowt4@whitbread.com , they usually reply with "will put a note on system but cannot guarantee a specific room"
It can normally be sorted on arrival
this visit I had no reply , but still got a reasonable room
*62-*86 on floor 6/5/4 are about best
*58/59/60*61 are on the corner as a little tight but give good views of both ends of 27R/27L as can be seen from these pictures
for the night shots I would have preferred to be further to the left say 676/676

many thanks, very helpful.
When I was there about 3 years ago I was in room 785, it was okay apart from the large mast so it's probably better to either be around 660 as you were or 690ish in the other direction. I did a report / guide on here afterwards:viewtopic.php?f=36&t=29906 and if you would like to add info to it please feel free to do so .

Shame they have put a plus rate on the top floor rooms now, what they really want to add is a rooftop plaza :D
