I finally managed a trip to Italy almost a year to the day sine my previous visit to see my daughter and family. She took me to the nearby airfield at Ozzano about 10 miles east of Bologna on Tuesday morning, I hadn't been there since October 2019. I got the usual friendly welcome and went around the whole airfield apart from the Tecnam hangar where they were busy working. As you've possibly seen from Claudio's regular photos they have put down many more aircraft stands alongside the taxiway all neatly constructed in block paving! Claudio wasn't able to meet me there but that's to the manager (Diego) I was able to speak to him for the first time via Diego's mobile as he has Claudio on his contacts list - great to finally have a chat and I hope that next time we can actually meet up. So here are some of my photos, I said one visit but it was actually 2, we were just driving away when the latest Cape Air Tecnam N335CA arrived so my daughter kindly turned round so I could get some pics of it - what a result! It should make a brief stop in the UK in the next few days as it refuels on it's delivery flight. To start with here are some pics of it:

as well as the Cape Air P1012 there are always plenty of different models of Tecnams present and you can see some of the nicely block paved stands here

Diego also showed me the museum collection - cars as well as aircraft, they have a new Sea fury but unfortunately that was away at Ravenna for some work, they do fly the aircraft and you can even have a flight in the Stearman (at a price!)

The Cape Air Tecnam P2012 is currently routing north over the UK on delivery, currently SE of Manchester

it went over west Essex, just south of Stansted Phil, broken cloud at the time so I expect somebody managed to see it.
