a bit of catching up....
I spent a week in Norfolk at the start of July at Overstrand just east of Cromer and managed a couple of outings, Northrepps being just 2 miles away featured both times and the second visit was boosted by a meet up with Mike Burdett who kindly took me round the hangars as well - thanks Mike. For a small airfield it's very busy, the cafe attracts pilots and enthusiasts from far afield and worth calling in if you're in the area. Here's a selection starting with a couple on the 10th

Good mix of all sorts. I really must visit sometime. The last time I went to Northrepps it was the old strip with a bathing hut and downhill/uphill 18/36 if I recall.

Looks like an interesting place to visit, a pity that I'm so far away. :(

Nice set of shots though, Andy. :thumb:

Thanks for the comments guys, and yes it is very interesting.

Ian - the 18/36 strip is still there but they were using the east / west runway when I was there, there was some model flying going on at the northern end of the 18/36 one.
It's well worth a visit and also worth dropping Mike (norwichmike on here) a line beforehand to ask if he's around to show you in the hangars - there's a good selection in them.

It's worth reading Mike's topic here which gives more details of the airfield and his contact details: viewtopic.php?f=194&t=22516
