Spitfire hunting in Northern Ireland

Post by Paultojo » Mon Sep 21, 2020 4:07 pm

G-PRXI the "NHS" Spitfire did the rounds over the hospitals of Northern Ireland on Friday with a rather nice Beaver in support, both called in for fuel at Newtownards where I caught up with them

The smell of oil and gasoline, the sound of those engines .... And when it flies, it is completely super. I love those old birds.
Very nice shots of the Spit and the Beaver
( although the chopper and PC12 may also be there. :thumb: )
Greetings
Wallie
