As stated on previous post a weekend at LHR was undertaken, slowly getting quite busy and some good stuff coming into it, weather was mixed wet sunny but that England for you, on to the pictures.

Excellent images Mark and thanks for sharing.

I'm prepared to be shot down over this but l can't help but feel a bit sad that a day at LHR these days only yields Airbus or Boeing types. Spotters of a certain age can remember coming away from a day at most airports with about 10 or 20 types from different manufacturers. I suppose it's just a sign of the times.

It just reflects the cost of developing a new airliner nowadays.

Afraid so sign of the times, i wont mention Queens building and watching 737s, 727s, DC9s, few Tristars , DC10s and throw in some Russians , good old days

Don't forget 707's, DC8's and Tridents with VC10's and of course the odd Russian and CSA TU104's- but I am getting older. :halo:
