My trip up to Gloucester included dropping in to Staverton for a look around.
The airport has seen massive investment over the years and is a major aviation manufacturing and maintenance hub (Dowty, SAFRAN, RGV Cirrus Centre, Babcock & Specialist Aviation Services to mention a few) both within the current airfield boundary and also the old Gloster manufacturing site. Whilst it has a passenger terminal, schedule and charter flights haven't run for a few years and it is mainly used by air charter companies now. The 'View from the Cafe' field remains closed (assumed because of Covid-19) but a drive around the airport found the following.
