I spent a few hours at a very hot Old Warden on Wednesday hoping to see some display practice flights but unfortunately they didn't materialise. There was quite a bit of general action including several in and outs from the far side hangar, here's a selection and there one of just about everything that moved in my flickr album

one of the staff said they are now planning for the first display on Saturday 18th July (evening) and they were marking out the car parking with lots of red lines to prepare for social distancing. Apparently they will ask everybody to stay by their cars. Oddly they were doing refunds for that show not so long ago.
At last, an air display to look forward to!
C&C welcome and thanks for looking
Andy

Re: Old Warden 24-06-2020
the show on the 18th will be different, a drive in show - a bit like a 3D movie but without the popping of popcorn! A fairly conservative line up (all their own aircraft I think) but I suppose they are being cautious first time out this year. An evening Shuttleworth show on a fine summer evening (fingers crossed) takes some beating.
They have priced it per car to work in with their social distancing measures so hope it works. I've been a member for many year and for members it's £45 so for me ans SWMBO that's only £25 each which is quite reasonable IMHO but full price of £50 per car may not attract a person on their own but can understand why they need to know car numbers to ensure they don't overfill the parking grid.
well done for their initiative
