Superb and stunning shots

Great shots. Saw it coming in on FR24 but about 10 mins too late to get there. Do you know if there will be any more in the coming days, as there were two or three in last week?

According to posts on the Stansted google group (credit Paul Dunn) it's due out 22.00 tonight and then back later this week. I was scheduled to visit 3 times and this is the second visit.

Thank you. Maybe I’ll have to join the google group, as I’d quite like to see one of these and atm, I’m just using filters on FR24 to see what’s inbound.

Were there any others last week? I’m sure I saw one coming up from France when I was tracking the Red Arrows the other day, and I saw a vid on Instagram showing one landing in the evening 3 days ago?

that would have been this one when it flew up from Malaga on the 18th

here's a link to the Stansted google group for you : https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/stnae We get daily dues lists from people at the airport which are very handy as well as other 'dues' from members picking them up on the flight trackers and thye often update the live arrival time info too. All very handy

Looking at the wind direction for later in the week, it might well be an arrival on 04 for the next visit. Anywhere for approach shots that end, assuming another evening arrival?

this should help you, it's a guide to spotting locations that I wrote a couple of years back, it's still pretty much up to date. The main thing to remember is that the northside business park is totally out of bounds now with ANPR cameras and regular patrols, so please stay out of there no matter how tempting it may seem.

Yeah, very handy, thanks again. Looks like the area around the bus stop then - I had read about that on another guide earlier but it wasn't clear where you could park to access it.

the only thing there at the moment is whether the novotel car park is open, that's something i haven't checked since the lockdown started. I like going up on the mound opposite the hotel entrance as you can see departures as well but I bet that will be a bit overgrown at present.
