Airborne over Moray..

Post by Macc » Sun Aug 15, 2010 9:38 pm

I'll add more later, quite a few more aviation ones to come..

Well, invited back to the Highland Gliding Club by my Uncle, this time to go flying about Moray in the Jabiru. I came through with Mark (Lossie15) who was going gliding and we arrived just before 11ish. We went into the clubhouse while everything was getting sorted out as the weather was looking pretty grim to say the least.

Whilst waiting for stuff to happen we took a trundle round to see what was going on and I took a few shots..

1. Creativity conception. - To me, this brings the three main aspects of creative photography: Colour, shape and focus.

After Marks flight in the glider, the weather began to start clearing. The Jabiru was due off to perform a flypast near Dornoch and land nearby so we weren't sure when I was gonna go up. At about 4 o'clock the weather totally cleared leaving a gaping hole of blue sky to greet the Jabiru as it landed bang on half four!

So by about five o'clock we took off on what was to be just over an hour of flight, it was a superb flight and very tranquil!

A big, big, big thanks to my Uncle for this amazing opportunity! I loved it, it was amazing!
Also to Mark, and his Mum for the lift through!

Thanks,
Chris.

Great shots Chris, I must try and do that myself sometime. Need to save up to learn to sit in the left seat though :(

Oh, one little annoyance that everyone gets wrong, it's "final" not "finals" - You can only be there once at a time ;)
