Stansted from the Aerozone 03-12-2019

we had a special Planewatch event at the Aerozone today to allow us to see the arrivals for the NATO summit in London today and tomorrow. Thanks to the police for organising it.
The American contingent arrived last night but nevertheless there was a regular flow of aircraft from other NATO countries throughout the day plus the regulars which I haven't yet gone through, here's a selection and there are loads more including more of the military ones in my flickr album: https://www.flickr.com/photos/125470545 ... 2048613876

Gutted I couldn't make it today as I had a work commitment I couldn't get out of.

That Turkish 747 landing is really nice. Glad the weather was kind (for photographs at least, I bet it was a tad chilly!)

Nice set Andy, really crisp & clear and in great light for once at the Aerozone. Some real rarities there too, especially the Turkish contingent.

thanks Denis and all - yes it was extremely cold but still worth it for the selection that visited.

I've just got a backlog of photos to go through now as I was at Heathrow on Monday as well ( and almost as cold!)
