Saturday 17th August saw AN-12 UR-CZZ visit to drop off some movie equipment, here are some shots of its departure.

Lovely and crisp despite the low shutter speed for the prop blur. Excellent work.

Very nice.
The background tree's (rather than normal airport buildings) really set it off.
You must have had a good spot for photos.

Many thanks gents, I don't get time to post much these days so I try to put up the more interesting bits and pieces.
It was actually quite a stiff breeze blowing so it was a bit of a risk at 1/60th but I'm certainly very happy in the way they turned out.
I am lucky to have access to many good spots here but am also able to offer the same in return to those providing them so it's the result of years of building up good relationships on the airfield.

Great shots! Can't beat a bit of prop-blur to show the old girl in all her finery.
We'll miss these terribly when they are gone.
