Re: Busy Dunkeswell...
Yep. Shes a recent import and went to Cranfield for modifications. Previously known as N17RX Beech B-99 C/N U153. Ive never seen that airframe at Dunkeswell before, they were using it as the dropship, in the 2 hours i was there she was up 9 times! Gets up to height pretty damn quick i can tell you! Looks really good in black, makes it look a whole lot bigger!
Re: Busy Dunkeswell...
Ahh thought so! Shame I never got to see her! The black livery does look great.
So do you know if shes now based at Dunkeswell?
9 times in 2hrs. Thats crazy. That will take the pilot forever to put in the logbook at the end of the day!

Re: Busy Dunkeswell...
The skydiving centre has really come on in the last few years. Imagine using a C206 now! Was the Caravan a tempory jumpship then or is it still there?

Sorry for the late reply!Stug wrote:The skydiving centre has really come on in the last few years. Imagine using a C206 now! Was the Caravan a tempory jumpship then or is it still there?
Yep, the caravan (N208AD) is still there and still very much in use. I think they required greater capacity, hence the Beech, but you are right, as for skydiving - Dunk is definately on the up (then down).
