Canary country circular tour 19-04-2019, first stop Seething

Post by andygolfer » Sun Apr 21, 2019 12:55 pm

on Friday myself and a friend went on a day's circular tour of Canary country - East Norfolk which took in Norwich itself and 5 other airfields. Some were quite quiet considering the weather and it being a bank holiday but we saw all sorts of aircraft. A bit of effort beforehand contacting the airfields got us round the hangars so something to bear in mind if you're planning a day out.
We started at Seething which was very quiet...........

then it was off to Norwich Airport and a meet up with Mark 'Airbus A320' who showed us the places to go

C&C welcome

Despite the missing rudder, the Beagle206 looks to be in good shape, I wonder how many of the type are still in existence?

Nice to see some GA for a change.

According to Planebase, there are 9 active(inclusing G-FLYP above and 4 preserved. A further 8 are flagged as withdrawn. All the rest are down as written off or broken up.
