February Highlights Heathrow

Highlights from a few trips down to Heathrow during February to catch the various special colour schemes on offer and some of the more regular traffic in the clear blue skies.

Blue skies, retrojets and banking shots, what's not to like?

That's a great set Dennis, which I must have missed when first posted on Thursday. The EL AL and Icelandair retros were good catches and well photographed.

I've not seen the Ethiopian departing before, is that a new time slot or was it running very late or early!!!

This was on the ET711 which is scheduled for departure at 10:20 on Saturday mornings and 07:55 on Sundays. It doesn't run every week (I note for instance it didn't operate yesterday or today). My shot was on the 24th Feb and it had operated for the three weeks before that. Curiously it also didn't operate the last weekend of January but did in all the preceding weeks.

Thanks all for the kind comments.

Denis.

Some fantastic schemes there, I must try to capture more retros myself, think everyone wants to see that BOAC, although I am looking forward to Landor too. :)
