Hello all,

This June I stepped up my spotting hobby by buying a camera.
For the trip to normandy, I got to use my neighbour's canon 1100d with a 75-300mm lens.
This was my very first time spotting with a "proffesional" camera.
I must say I loved the results, but now looking back, the photos aren't the quality I aim for now, but still some nice catches.
Enjoy some parajumps, dakotas, GA, and a Boeing 717
I haven't quite editted all my photos yet, and I don't know when I will, but here are some of my photos:

First, we went to the aerodrome of Lessay, where we were simply standing between the pilots and we could go anywhere we wanted.
Sadly the parajumps were cancelled due to fog, so no flight activity this day.

6. T6 Taxan, old registration seems to be 49-0747, though not sure, new registration is F-AZRB

Another day, we went to Sainte Mère Église for para jumps and we saw these:

13. Flypast of the A-10s, which was immediatly my highlight of 2018 sadly my camera wouldn't focus, so they aren't the best, but still. (should be 81-0994 and 81-0998)

Hi
Your unidentified Piper Cub isn't really a Piper, but a Wag Aero Sport Trainer,
which is a modern homebuilt Cub replica.
Registration is F-PZZE.

I'm not jealous about those 2 A-10s at all. ( I was at Cherbourg so they must have got really close to me but nobody there knew anything about them)

I didn't know about them either, so my reaction was too late, which is why they are out of focus sadly.
If I knew they would come I would have had way better pictures for sure.

Also a side note, none of these photos are editted, that's why there are dustspots on them and they aren't cropped or something. I will edit them when I get the time

The P-40 is actually ex 42-105915 - they got to six digits that year!!

N147DC currently wears false marks '431312'. It used to wear its real identity 42-100884. Which was delivered in the same batch as the other Dak you saw N473DC/42-100882.

F-AZOX was 44-77020 and with Canada as a CC-129 serial 12965.

SNJ-5 F-AZRB was with the US Navy in a pure numerical sequence as 90747 (delivered in 1942). Ex USAAF 42-86174. post war to Spanish AF as C.6-135.

The MS Criquet is in false German 'Storch' marks. It was built in France in 1946 and never saw any military service.
