Civilian Aviation

I popped over to Stansted this afternoon hoping the weather would play ball for the arrival of this 747, unfortunately it did not! 10 minutes earlier there was a bit of sun on the few landing aircraft and again 10 minutes later. Instead I had to take these at 1600 ISO and with +1 exposure compensation, not ideal but there, can't win them all. Lovely scheme even on a dull afternoon. My rather basic editing skills haven't done much to improve them either (and I took them in RAW to give more scope for editing )
