Civilian Aviation

well, I offered to go to Tescos this morning (other supermarkets are available but I don't have to pass them on the way to Stansted) and stuck my camera in the car as well and had a hour or so there before the tortuous shopping. With the light as it was the torture was worth it although by the last 2 arrivals the light was getting close to directly behind the aircraft, here's some of my efforts and there are a few more in the flickr album....

and here's another of the Martinair 747 banking as it turned downwind about 6 miles away!), I only tried the pic through boredom but thought I'd include it , shame about the heat haze - all I can say it must have been much warmer north of Bishops Stortford as my hands were very cold by then...
