Birmingham 12 November

Post by Paul Zietsman » Tue Nov 13, 2018 12:25 pm

Having taken a couple of days away from the daily grind, I went on a quick recce to Birmingham International. I travelled by train from Hartford (Northwich) to Birmingham New Street and then on to Marston Green. Crossing over the platform, I was soon on a tarred foot path into well kept parklands and about 500 yards later, I was the end of Runway 15.

Here are a few of the pictures I took:

Thanks Jonf45. It was my first trip there and I will go back soon. Conditions were excellent, which helped a lot. The prop blur was down to a shutter speed of 1/60 and a tripod but even then I only got 2 acceptable shots out of about 8 taken.
