Manchester Sat 29 September 2018 - First Light

I ventured out early on Saturday and arrived near the bottom of 23L as the sun broke the horizon. I had set the ISO at auto and my first shot of the day was at 1250 and the last were between 125 and 100. There was a 2/3rds moon and I was lucky enough to get a couple of images with it in shot.

I have tried to assemble the images in some sort of chronological sequence - I hope you enjoy them.

Another great selection of pics Paul, hopefully that's not the last sunny clear sky we'll see now that Autumn has arrived.

Martin, thanks. We have had some beautiful sunny days this summer/early autumn. I am so pleased I went out last Saturday because this Saturday we look as though we are in for heavy rain. At least it will give me time to thin out my last couple of months worth of photographs and clear up some space on my hard-drive......unless the forecast is wrong.....
