Heathrow - A Monday in August

Post by Cessna954 » Sat Sep 08, 2018 12:50 pm

Arriving at Heathrow and they were on 27L arrivals but with variable lighting conditions. I parked up at the Cemetery (new signs advising authorised cemetery users only - my day will come!!). With runway change I moved over to the park adjacent the A30 and the light improved through the late afternoon.

Nice set Neil. I'm not too sure about the Swiss either  Nice to see the MD-83 subbing and surprising to see a DHC-8 at LHR too - are they regular? Reminds me of the mid-80s with F.27s etc before everything seemed to go pure jet.

Wow! Cracking set of pictures, there's some real stunning sharp ones in there

Picked a good day for variety by the looks of it, LOT and Swiss specials and the MD-82, and the Amiri Flight A340-200

Who's was the ex-Air Berlin?
