Bank Holiday weekend at Heathrow

Some interesting special liveries visited over the bank holiday weekend. The following are the highlights from a couple of trips down to Heathrow on Sat & Sun.

Good to make a dent in the special liveries while the sun shines!

Looks as though you struck lucky with so many special schemes.

A great set of pictures.

You were spoilt Denis! very nice and very lucky with all those special schemes
- it still takes skill to get the angles and you made the most of them, well done.

Are the Malaysian A.380s back regularly now?

The early flight was an A380 on Sunday and yesterday. Was however to revert to A350s and 9M-MAD did today's flight.

Did a bit of playing around with the angles from a couple of locations as you say and quite pleased with the results.

All the best

Denis.

Hi Paul,

The topside ones are from the park at the end of Shakespeare Avenue TW14 9HU. The ones earlier in the climb are from the end of Richmond Avenue TW14 9SQ across the bridge over the stream by the allotments.

Hope that helps

Denis.

Fantastic pictures and great angles. Out of interest what camera and lens do you use to take pictures of that quality?

Hi Southside,

The equipment I use is the Canon EOS 40D with a Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens. I've had the lens since Christmas and highly recommend it.

Denis.
