Manchester Airport 7 May

Post by Paul Zietsman » Mon May 07, 2018 1:43 pm

I made my first visit this year to Manchester Airport today. Although I arrived at 08:00 the front row seats were taken so I worked in the background, shooting over the heads of those seated and dodging those standing. Despite there being 36 on board the mound at one stage, I managed to get a few shots which I post below. Although a cloudless day, it was a bit smoggy and this shows in some of the shots.

The first image will give an idea of the overall visibility

The following show some of the departing flights

This is taking privacy to the extreme! No comments about it being curtains for the passengers and crew, please.

And the parting shot - some of the inhabitants. I hope they enjoyed themselves at least as much as I did.

Great pics. I must take a trip up to MAN sometime, as I've never been there for purely spotting reasons . :)
Pics taken as record shots only - no competition entries here :)
