Having spoken to Paul and now having seen your shots, I wish I hadn't bailed out this morning! Seems like the wx wasn't as bad as the TAF led me to think it would be. Oh well. Nice to get a pure Silkway rather than an Italian one (love the condensation trails on the touchdown shot), and I'm annoyed at missing the RFO A319 too.

Those have turned out well Andy considering the weather looks pretty horrible. I like the first Silkway :thumb:

you can apply to join the planewatch scheme Mike, you don't have to be local. I've negotiated a special extra open day in April as well which should hopefully be very good ;)

Andy

What are the opening times for Aerozone? I ask as I don't very often visit STN nowadays but maybe I can fit in a visit here and there.

Cheers

Hi Mike, the regular dates are first Saturday of the month from 9am to 1pm. Occasionally they move it back a week if the staff are unavailable on normal day

Last year in August they did an extra mid week one from 7am to 1pm.

Fine shots despite the weather. It never stopped raining down here.

Andy, you have provided some good detail in the Stansted section regarding visiting.
It is appreciated and helps folk like me that are not regulars.
Maybe sometime, you might consider adding some specifics about the Aerozone.
eg what do folks do for parking? facilities etc.
cheers
Pete.
