Stansted 7-1-2018, a couple of bankers

This area is for all current civilian images less than 5 years old. A limited number of military photos (guideline up to 10%) may be included if they add to the overall theme. No topics with links only please.

Nice bright skies this morning tempted me to a brief visit to footpaths east of Stansted to try some new locations for departure shots- still can't nail the perfect location! It was sunny but also extremely cold so I didn't hang around very long.....

this Cargolux didn't oblige with a nice banking angle at all, made a very shallow turn :mad:

but this Ryanair did a bit better...

and this one at a different location did better still, I think I know which of the two spots I shall try again now :)

A 747 looks good from any angle but a banker is just perfect, one day I will find the perfect spot at STN - getting close now.
